Upon inking a cooperation agreement, the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and Estonian Tax and Customs Board will be able to share information and experiences, provide assistance and establish a good working relationship.

Also, with the agreement based on the principles of protection of consumers and preservation of public order, the jurisdictions aim at bettering regulatory standards both in the online and land based sectors.

According to Steve Brennan, chief executive of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, the agreement will allow both regulators to explore and improve the consumer protection opportunities that cooperation offers, to streamline processes and to create efficiencies for business.

He also said: “The agreement builds on the Isle of Man’s commitment to international cooperation and provides a strong endorsement of the excellent reputation and international standing that the Island has earned through more than a decade of sound regulation of gambling activity.”
