Relax Gaming Network Limited gets the jubilee license
A jubilee 100th online gambling license has been awarded this week by the Alderney Gaming Control Commission; the lucky company to receive the celebratory license was Relax Gaming Network Limited, a company developing and maintaining casino, bingo and poker software.
It has been assessed by Robin Le Prevost, Alderney's head of e-commerce, that the 100th license reaffirmed the island's status as "the place to be" for the online gambling industry, adding that the Commission has "very high standards."
In regard to objections from a number of industry observers and players who didn’t approve the AGCC's handling of the Full Tilt Poker debacle, Le Prevost said that the issue had done no damage to the island's industry and that Alderney had received support from other jurisdictions for the way in which it had acted.
