Deal with NextGen to provide for further expansion of Chartwell’s offering
A new licensing agreement has been closed between the Canadian online gambling software provider Chartwell Technology and independent software developer NextGen Gaming, through which Chartwell’s slot offering will expand and hopefully attract more interest.
NextGen is famous for its exclusive and non-exclusive slots which number over 300 catalogue games, including some titles from recognized land-based suppliers. That’s why it’s no wonder it supplies so many top online gambling software providers with content.
As for Chartwell’s plans, by the end of 2011 it should deploy at least fourteen NextGen-developed games, and only this week it presented two new 20-line NextGen slots - The popular Egyptian-themed Rameses Riches and Unicorn Legend, with plans to add Irish Eyes, Medusa, Crocodopolis, 300 Shields and Cherry Blossoms shortly.
It was specified by NextGen Gaming CEO Matt Davey: "We are excited to offer our slot content to Chartwell's network of major eGaming operators.Chartwell has the expertise, platform and commitment to customer service to ensure that both operators and players will enjoy this entertaining, fresh content."
On the other side, Chartwell COO Dave Acorn commented: "We recognize that slots are a major growth area in our industry, so our continued strategy has been to help our customers retain and attract players by providing them with exciting online casino games. Expanding our slots portfolio through third party licensing deals with companies like NextGen complements our ongoing in-house development and provides our customers plenty of options."
