Everybody knows that mobile gaming has become one of the most lucrative branches of online gambling, and its boost has continued in 2011. Reports are that the mobile entertainment industry’s worth is about to grow from last year’s $33 billion to $54 billion in 2015. In line with this, all major companies started releasing Android and iApps, and so far in 2011 the selection has been augmented by the following launches:

32Red’s Real Money Blackjack application, compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad; Full Tilt Poker’s new Rush Poker Mobile application; industry newcomer 4-Score-Pro’s new card-style game for the iPhone and iPad, Home Card; Pyramid Solitaire from Indian software developer i-Lifemobitech, for the iphone/ipad; an enhancement to Racing Post’s popular iPhone App, released by Racing Post and William Hill, and enabling punters to browse Racing Post's news, tips and data, etc.; William Hill’s Android app for its mobile customers, which provides access to users to over 40,000 pre match, in-play and specialty markets from William Hill Online.

Apart from these, there are also the MiniTycoon Casino iPhone app launched by US mobile gaming developer SGN, through which players can build their own virtual casino, awarding chips for the best designed venue; Bam Software Group’s BAM Pkr, which the company claims is fully compatible with any browser based format and can be integrated into a site within a week; Rank Group’s Blue Square launched its own sport betting app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, whereas its Meccabingo.com also released a real-money iPhone bingo app; Playtech’s Virtue Fusion was also there, allowing mobile players to compete for the same cash prizes as online punters on the site.

Further on, Bwin launched a real-money iPhone poker application, and it is currently available only to customers in the UK and Austria; Reel Deel Casino Games introduced its “Quick Seven” application, available in the Apple App Store; Micorgaming’s associate, mobile gambling solutions provider Spin3 also presented a new app branded SpinSport, specifically designed for leading mobile devices including iPhone, iPod and iPad, but there was also Tomb Raider slot, which is currently available on the Android platform.

Virtual Media Labs launched 'Super Slot’, an app compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. 'Super Slot' is a virtual slot machine that comprises three rows, five columns, eight different symbols and five bet lines. The app is available in the iTunes App Store.

Last but not the least come Betfred with its mobile gambling offering, now optimized for Android, featuring betting in-play; Sandcroft Inc.’s “The WinLoss Slot Player's Diary” application; Scary Robot Productions’ debut iPhone game “Poker with Bob”; Victor Chandler’s proprietary mobile sports betting application for Android and Apple platforms; and finally International Game Technology (IGT)’s partnership with MGM Resorts International which resulted in a Cleopatra iPhone slot game as part of MGM Resorts' new M life Players Club iPhone application.
