Playtech has just announced that it has lent its content to iGaming brand, Sun Bets, which was recently launched via a partnership between Tabcorp Holdings, and the Rupert Murdoch-owned News UK, owner of the newspaper, The Sun.

The gambling software development company will supply Sun Bets with some of its best slots, table games, and live dealer content, in addition to its progressive jackpot games, equipped with spectacular prizes. The move will supplement the August 6th launch of Sun Bets’ sportsbook, just ahead of the 2016-17 Barclays Premier League season.

Customers can look forward to popular Playtech titles such as the Age of the Gods series, in addition to content from Warner Bros. and DC Comics, such as Green Lantern, Batman, and Superman, which will soon be added to the Sun Bet portfolio. As for its live casino options, the offerings will include favorites like, blackjack, baccarat, and roulette.

Playtech operations chief, Shimon Akad, commented “We’re delighted to be partnering with Tabcorp and extending our already strong, existing relationship with News UK. The fact that Sun Bets has launched our exclusive casino and live casino offerings is a great endorsement of our market-leading products and we look forward to working together to achieve fantastic results now and in the future."

This move is fueled by an interest in expanding beyond the Sun Bingo product, and Playtech is set to relaunch Sun Bingo, and sister brand, Fabulous Bingo via its Virtue Fusion subsidiary, by the end of August.

Tabcorp chief operating officer for keno and gaming, Adam Rytenskild, contributed, “Playtech’s casino and live casino products have proven to be among the best performing in the industry for many years and we’re very excited to have a comprehensive selection of branded games for Sun Bets. We are excited about the size of the opportunity that Sun Bets presents and a first-class casino is a crucial part of what we’re offering customers.”
