Discovery has been designed to look like a traditional nautical chart, the like of which would have been used by explorers to chart where they were going and where they'd been. The paylines are clearly marked down either side of the slot too, with a handy yellow overlay to indicate how many lines are in play.

Fresh fruit, exotic in nature, dominates the reels. They include peaches, lemons, oranges, raspberries and apples. It's this type of fruit that would have been discovered on distant voyages which is why it seems fitting that icons such as sail ships and compasses have also been included.

The gold doubloon has two very important roles to play. Firstly it plays as a wild icon which means it can count as any other icon. Secondly it pays out prizes when three, four or five icons appear on an active payline. This will award 50, 500 or 6,000 coins respectively (two icons will also pay 6 coins).

Three or more compass icons will trigger the discovery bonus game. This presents an old fashioned map of the world from which you pick countries to explore. Each successful choice will award a bonus prize, whilst finding the word 'collect' will end the bonus round and payout all prizes gained up until that point.
